I love how this depiction of T. rex behaves like a normal animal, but it doesn't downplay why it was the apex predator of its time.

Prehistoric Planet has the best depiction of the T-Rex in any dinosaur media. From being shown to be able to swim, to showing an…interesting mating display. And deciding to wait till nightfall to avoid the risk of getting injured by plant-eaters that have defensive body parts.

And can we talk about the baby T-Rex? They're so tiny! And accurately adorable!

Swimmers, intelligent nightly hunters, planners, ferocious in battle, good friends, tender mates, caring fathers... Yeah, Prehistoric Planet does justice to T Rex's reputation as the King of Dinosaurs, better than any other media I have seen so far

That has to be one of the most beautiful depictions ever of T-rex. May not be the awesome Hollywood style like in Jurassic Park/World, but it gave us a great look at what the dinosaur would've looked like based on modern science. The roar was very subtle too, not as loud and aggressive like Jurassic Park.

I personally like how robust the Prehistoric Planet T-Rex is and I really wish that a toy company like Lanard toys could get the rights to Prehistoric Planet

I *love* the cinematography here.
Like, the way the camera was angle or how the T-Rex was shot really gives off a sort of demanding presence.

Like the scene where the T-Rex was observing the dead giant turtle.
Or when the two rexes were hunting the Edmontosaurs.
Even the wide shots or closeup shots.
It’s just so cool and how majestic it all looks.

Bro the CGI is so good, props to all the artists involved, I love dinosaurs since I was a toddler and I watch so many dinosaur movies and documentaries and I say prehistoric planet is the most realistic depiction of dinosaurs not just because of the CGI but also the way they behave like an animal because they are animals while still being unique from each other, also love the commentary, 10/10 dino documentary

Prehistoric planet is the real deal T. rex, I’d say my favorite T. Rex is from this show, super accurate and just the design is beautiful, spot on and honestly my hopes are up that this might be the best dinosaur show to date, it would be cool to see the prehistoric planet Rex as an action figure.
