It was kind of funny to see Brandon trying to pinch to zoom out in the Omnia

for starters, all 3 of the phones in this video were using the same wifi network, so all the differences in speed were from the phones, not the networks.

also, sprints hero doesnt use the 4g network. and lol at the " 4g = 2x faster than 2g" its a hell of a lot more than 2x faster.
i also have a print hero btw

plus the hero browser renders the text to fit on the screen, so that adds to the time. iphone u scroll left to right and up n down to read text on the broswer... hero is just up and down

you do realize it was on a wifi connection along with the other devices because it said "no Sim" in the top left corner, and wifi is generally faster than 3g

Yes, it's true with all current android phones

To return back on the HTC browser without press menu, just press the return button (physic)...
And to cancel the loading, there is a cross at the top of screen (adress bar) so you don't have to press the menu button...

He just only know his iPhone...

I just switch to the Hero (iPhone before), and it's a REAL phone, not a TOY.

Omnia should win the rendering test, the Hero starts zoomed in, while the Omnia shows the whole page

There are a few *home brew* app stores, but the official app store should be release when WinMo 6.5 is.

Hey this a really comprehensive review man, stuff I like to see. Thanks.

Can you do a test as to whether the 3Gs (or the Hero/Omnia) have to reload a page, when you return to it from another open tab. Thanks.

A comparism to new Internet Explorer Mobile from Windows Mobile 6.5 would have made more sense. It is much faster and comes with fully flash support. The zoombar is perfect and faster t handle then the pinching.

actually as hard as he was trying to make the iphone look better ... his actual research reveal that Hero was by far the best of the three in almost all features. and FLASH ... need I say more?

Omnia 2 have the best screen by far for web browsing, look at the viewing angles the text size and the resolution.

hehe At 1:16 he makes the screen rotate almost like he's taking together a deck of cards! haha He taps the bottom a couple times on the desk...

Oh, then my bad I skipped straight to the browser comparison. I'm surprised the omnia didn't win with all that power behind it.

Outstanding comparison Brandon. I was tweaked for the Hero but to not load Youtube is just pathetic. Looks like I'll stick with my apped out Blackjack II with Skyfire until something better comes along, Monk....
