Engineering, cosplay animatronics, new 3D printing techniques... this project really pushed me to my limits - but it's finally done! After building Oda's mantis blades, I wanted to complete the entire outfit. I love blending engineering and fashion/cosplay.
His helmet - was such an iconic, challenging piece, and I hope you guys learn something from this video!
A special shout out to CD Projekt Red for creating Cyberpunk 2077, as well as providing me the high resolution assets so I could make such an accurate piece!

The way the light catches your contacts is perfect

The amount of work put into this is insane, but the video is also so well put together. I am very jealous, choom.

There is seriously such a level of professionality that I have never probably seen before in cosplay...I really love it

I'm speechless at the amount of skills involved, from 2d/3d design, to printing/sanding/painting and finally hardware/software building/coding
WOW

13:02 - Lesson learned; foam lining, and probably an air bag inside the helmet for added security.

Your attention to detail is insane! Such a cool piece, especially paired with the mantis blades. Can't wait to see more preem builds

I really appreciate you showing your failures and how you learned and adapted to the results. I feel like a lotta people just put a time-lapse on for that kind of stuff but it's really nice to see what kind of work goes into making an idea come to life.

Y'know, I have a feeling, that if this guy started selling some of the stuff he's made, he'd be making serious cash, keep up the good work choom

One of the things I do now is do a 20% per volume mix of high durometer flex resin to large prints, You end up with an "super resi" that is resistant to breakage and is fully machinable

People like you make me want to go and blow thousands of dollars and try to do something like this, but then I think about bills and realize that it's not plausible at the current juncture. This was amazing. I just started playing CyberPunk 2077 a couple days ago because of the Steam Summer Sale, and I'm just blown away by this game.
