I don't think it's called an aircraft carrier. Those are LHAs, or readiness carriers.

coming from a Brit who works with the Royal Navy, you were extremely privileged in your visit. You had a senior officer's cabin, the lower ranks share 6 to 8 to a cabin. Bataan is an LHD, about a third of the weight of a Carrier. Lining the deck for a port visit is called Procedure Alpha and is taken seriously by all navies. I'm glad the crew bought into the fun of it and I know it's the Top Gun jacket but it's seriously frowned upon to wear patches you haven't earned..but what the heck, great skit, great video, great ass...

Yoooo, I work on that V-22, got back from deployment attached with this ship back in July through March, but I was on the USS Mesa Verde. That was an amazing shot of the 22 you got and also, Baldwin is sitting next to me lol
