Hey...First time I've seen using the flex brake line securement bracket as a means of disconnecting rusted fitting!! GREAT IDEA!!

Watching this after having destroyed my hard line trying to swap a hose. I got the old hose off fine but tightened the new one on too hard and crushed the line, now needs replaced. Live and learn.

My brake hose bracket is welded onto wheel-well body.
Not as thick as your one either.
Designed to rust off after 8-10 years driving, of course.

Or spray fitting with pb blaster, wd40 etc a few days prior and they come apart usually.

Quick question, how much brake fluid are you supposed to drink from the line after? Not sure if that was 2 or 3 sips.

Great tip! What kind of vehicle is that. I think my Ford Taurus has a similar setup. Have to go look now. I really don't want to use torch if I don't have to.
