How to differentiate an Original CASIO Scientific Calculator vs Imitation

Actually the easiest way for me to know if you have the original Casio Calculator is if it has the Contrast adjustment setting in the menu. Never seen a single fake casio calculator has this, loved this feature! 😉

My first scientific calculator was a Casio, an FX81 in 1981. I was 15 years old. I also had a Casio digital watch. Casio was my entry into consumer electronics!

I would have thought that a fake calculator may not have all the functions or is made with cheaper materials. But the fact that it cant even give you the right answers is very strange.

I doubt it solves in correctly it probably has to do with which answer it chooses to give you, if you do shift solve then = or shift solve equal it will give you different solutions depending on what you're solving

Your doctor 99% has a cheap one, his answers will be the wrong ones. The lesson from this us: always buy the cheap calculator so your answer will match your doctor's and actually get a good grade
