450 goals in like 430 games. Greatest transfer ever by far. Even from a financial standpoint. On all fronts, no debate.

Cristiano Ronaldo record at REAL Madrid is incredible
450 Goals and 131 assist in just 438 games, that's unbelievable 🐐

Makes me sad to see the Ronaldo/Messi era finally coming to an end after so long. but I think that’s what really makes it so special. The way you described how their rivalry would go on to shape the landscape of European football for almost a decade… gives me chills. It seemed like the world stood still whenever the Classico would come around. I feel so lucky to have been able to witness them play at their peaks for so many years. And tbh I’m thankful to both of them for all the magic, the drama, and for proving anything is possible.

Just realised R9 broke the club records back to back for goals in a season at Barcelona and then Inter milan.

He didn’t need any time to adapt or players to accommodate him. Defences just didn’t have an answer for his pace, strength, skill and technique.
Probably why he was called the Phenomenon.

“outside of getting your head chopped off, or your leg amputated, [rupturing the kneecap tendons] is just about the worst injury a footballer can get”
Alfie please never stop writing scripts, you're mad good at it
Edit: it's been two months and I still LOSE IT every time I hear that sentence HAHAHAHA

Your segment of Christian Vieri made me wonder, who the other player was in this list, you had the honour of meeting in real life ?

Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest signing in football history. Bargain too. Best that I’ve ever seen.

Crazy what the Bosman case did to world football! Would have been a completely different story for world football without the forgotten Belgian player.

Ranking every British record transfer signing since 1996. That’d be a good one!

Pogba was expected to be a world class midfield player at united. He was, instead, exactly what you explained; can do a few things brilliantly but wasn't interested in doing anything else to advance his game. He could get away with that in Italy with a supreme juventus side and at international level with France in midfields that would dominate games without him. As it says here, he is a freak of talent and therefore should dominate games, but he doesn't. Why? Because his attitude is wrong, simple as that. What a waste of talent he is. Single most frustrating footballer I can remember

For someone born in 1996, you seems to as an expert of Zidane's career which ended when you were 10 years old. Have seen too many instances of you taking slights jab at Zizou

Would love to see another one on unlikely signings. Would love to know the story behind Ballon d'Or winner Alan Simonson going to Charlton at the peak of his powers.

I've always said that just because you're earning hundreds of thousands of pounds a week does not exempt you from suffering mentally and a lot people can't seem to wrap their heads around that .

People become accustomed to a certain way of living whether that be a life of luxury, a life of poverty, or somewhere in between. A person working 12hrs a day 7 days a week in a sweatshop earning barely enough to support themselves let alone their family would kill for a minimum wage retail job in the UK.

Hey Alfie. Can you make a video looking behind the 1994 UCL Final. The build-up, pre-match press conferences and hype.

Then you talk about the match and post match happenings like The demolition of the Cruyff Dream Team.

A video about the success story of Port Vale since Carol Shanahan took over, considering we just won the playoff final. Her charity work, bringing in Darrell Clark, then the things he went through this season. Plus we were on a winning streak and 1 point off the playoffs and she voted to end the first covid season early.
