TOK 2018 Question 5 - Impression (IB, Theroy of Knowledge)

Hey guys, this is my TOK 2018 impression and insight. Remember these are just idea and approaches you can take. It is not the only way, and do not use all the points....you need to select relevant points to build your argument.

I just need to know that I understood the prescribed title correctly,  it does not want us to choose 2 areas of knowledge like Natural Sciences and History, but instead 2 disciplines within an area of knowledge, such as biology and astromony, which is within the natural sciences? Can you therefore not choose math and biology for instance, since math is an AoK and biology is a discipline?

The time portion confused me, can you explain whether it's better to talk about how long it's been around or how much time we put into it

When you describe what is 'validity', are you easily able to say that knowledge is 'right' or 'wrong'?

I understand that you suggest we choose two disciplines from on AOK, but is it okay to choose two AOK for two body paragraphs and compare two disciplines from each AOK? For example, is it OKAY if I choose Natural sciences and human sciences as two AOKs, and then compare "biology with astronomy" and "economics and psychology" in each big body? Then that would lead to 4 disciplines, and would that cause a deduction because it is more than two disciplines? Please answer this question THANK YOU!!

Did you mean that we cannot choose AOK - Natural Science because it is no directly proportional but it increases exponentially?
