My friend is a doctor. One of her patients was a Veteran who spent 8 years in Afghanistan. When asked if he had ptsd, his response was that while he did not have ptsd, he had a lot of guilt. When asked why he had guilt, his response was that he spent 8 years guarding poppy fields. True story. Sad state of affairs.
