first year at uni: what i wish i'd known (university freshers tips)

I'm heading into my third year at university... YIKES. So, since I have some experience in the field, I thought I'd share all the things I wish I'd known before becoming a fresher, and what I wish I'd done differently!! These are my top tips for freshers.

I'm just starting my second (out of three) year of high school in Sweden and I've completely fallen in love with Durham University. Do you know if it is possible to study maths or biology there?

1. Sort out your accommodation in advance.
2. Bring things that you cherish and buy some new things that are specific to Uni.
3. Make sure that everyone pulls their weight in your room.
4. Bond with your housemates as early on as possible.
5. Don't put too much pressure on Fresher's Week.
6. Have as much fun as possible.
7. Don't stress if you have assigned readings.
8. Join clubs.
9. Say hello to everyone.

Things I wish i'd known.


1. You are barely in Uni at all, well I wasn't, maybe a few hours a day.
2. I made more friends in my accommodation than Uni.
3. Freshers is basically adding everyone on Snapchat, nd never seeing half the faces you see again.
