Yes, I always install the fans so the airflow will be directed out of the case.

The fans have some small embossed arrows on them, that show the fan rotation and the direction of the air stream.

I wouldn't call it easy, but I wouldn't call it difficult either. It is very straightforward if you have installed coolers like that previously.

In any case, it comes with a very explanatory manual, so there is no problem! ;)

I guess you don't really have a problem, since the fan is not exactly over the ram module. Even if it was taller, it wouldn't be obstracted by the fan.

In some other mobos though, there might be a problem. You may want to check with Noctua to be more sure.

I don't think so. In any case, you will see if the cooler is close to the fan when you make your plans to install it, so you will have plenty of time to act accordingly.

the way you installed it will the airflow be directed out the back of your PC or towards the PSU? I am currently building mine and was told to build it so the air would flow out the back but I have no idea which way around to put the fans on.

ahh okay cool, another question i have is, my case is an antec DF 30, there is a fan at the top of my case. my concern is, will the cooler be a hazard to the fan? should i take it off?

It keeps my Core i7 860 @ 4.0Ghz at about 40C.

hey again, sorry to be a continuous pain lol, im a noob, but i have a p8z68 V gen 3 motherboard, and i have geiL 8gb ram that has a heatsink on it, will the noctua cooler force me to move my ram?
