Truth! Like losing weight, you will not be able to sustainably to lose 3-5 pounds every week without running into health problems and end up rebounding and gain all the weight back if not more. Same approach, slow and steady!

Nick your need to specify your trading chart time frames . 3% P/month is more akin to longer term traders. If you take 5 scalps per day on the 5 min chart, you can just as safely make alot more then 3%p/month. All depends on your r/r and chart timeframes.
