Kles Akademy was writted by Jan Brzechwa in 1947. Academy was only for boys. First film was produced in 1984 in Poland. I loved this film when I was a child. The main character was named Adam Niezgòdka.

I watched both movies and I loved both. No matter if the main hero is a boy or a girl, the main message of this story is that imagination is a power worthy of pursuing. That a love and friendship can be built no matter who or what you are. That Kleks was a man who loved children and he has dedicated his life to teaching them and helping them shape their characters. That the evil exists and children have to be aware of deception. That the beauty of nature and fairy tales show us the basic truths children should learn and follow❤. Wonderful visuals! Definitely worth seeing!

Visually looks great, finally some colors. There are a lot of great shots.
Now the bad part.
- the writing is bad as it gets.
- the editing is non consistent and all over the place.
- the acting si mediocre at best.

This looks like a great movie. It's certainly very beautiful. Too bad they've got that deep letterbox on it. I don't think the movie people know that that really takes away from the movie a lot. I would love to be able to see it full screen on my big 65 inch TV. But with the letterbox I get almost a third of the screen's gone.
