Yes - The Revealing Science of God / Dance of the Dawn (shortened version; remastered audio)

This is my own edit of 1973 song from "Tales from Topographic Oceans".

When the album got released in 1973 it sparked a lot of controversy, as it consisted of 4 side-long songs which many fans and critics considered to be pretentious and overblown. I personally, liked the album for the most part, but also felt that some of the songs indeed drag for too long and consist of many repetitive sections that are there only for the sake of stretching the songs so that each of them can fill a full side of a LP. So, i decided to edit out what i felt was unnecessary and this is the result :)
I've edited each song to such length that put together they would not exceed a standard length of a SINGLE LP, which at that times was about 26 minutes per side. That way, my edit of the album is under 52 minutes long, which is still a lot, but not more than, let's say, Genesis' "Selling England by the Pound" which was released the same year.
If you enjoy the album as it is, don't feel offended that i butchered your beloved songs. Instead, try to judge these versions for what they are, just imagine would be your impressions if you heard the album originally in a form that i post it. All comments are welcome :)

Maciej, You've done a great job here. I've always felt that TFTO was too long and that if it was released in the CD era it would have been shorter, unlike most post vinyl era albums. You've tightened it up considerably and it sounds great. Well done.

Good work, Maciek. I remember doing the same thing, back in the day of cassette tapes using the pause button to produce an admittedly rather clumsy edited-down-to-a-single-album version.
