iPhone 13 in 2025 - worth it? (Review)

Approaching 4 years old, the iPhone 13 & 13 Mini still stand as great smartphones with a premium design, solid hardware and full iOS support- to the point they may in fact be the best value iPhones you can buy right now. So today we ask the question - is the iPhone 13 & 13 Mini still worth buying in 2025, and how do they hold up?

Watching this on iPhone 13 mini. I plan to keep using it at least until 2028. I’m going to miss having a smaller phone when I eventually upgrade, unless Apple brings back the mini model.

I bought the 13 in 2021 and have never had any real issues with it. It's a solid phone, and while the battery life is not quite as good as when it was new, it is still at 94% max capacity.

While IOS 18 makes for a more buggy experience, my 13 is still going strong after 3 years, and 800 battery cycles at 88% capacity. I was thinking of upgrading when the 17 comes out, but I think I will wait for the 18 and get a good 5 years out of this phone, maybe even longer

My son just bought a 13 from Amazon Renewed. It's still on the way, but I think I'll be totally happy with it when he gets it.

Just yesterday me and my wife bought 13 and it's amazing phone. We've both upgraded from 8 Plus and it's been a huge upgrade.

I recently upgraded from the 13 to the 16 pro max. My mom currently has the 13 and I told her "hold onto it for 3 more years and I'll give you my 16 pro max when I go to upgrade again in 3 years" let's hope she can holdout, she had the 8 plus before the 13

as someone who has had a 13 pro i have no incentive to upgrade, the only qualm i have is it doesn't have USB-C. I plan on keeping my 13 pro until they release a folding iphone

iPhone 13 mini user. Love it in despite its battery capacity and health. I have hopes for the next SE. The first SE saved me from the big phones when I had to move on from the iPhone 5.

I just switched to a 16 Pro from my trustworthy base 13, that still works wonderfully, even at 85% battery

Still rocking my green 13 mini.. battery health at 89% and still last all day. I love the size so much!

I bought my green iPhone 13 the year it released. I still love it. I don’t even have any battery issues. I’ll get a new iPhone when I feel excited about a new series.

Still have my 256gb 13 since launch day. Still works great, just the battery is struggling. Probably going to upgrade soon though as I miss having a Plus iPhone.

Running an iPhone 13 since March 2022 when I upgraded from my 11 pro. Loving it ever since. I’m down to 87% battery health and will be looking to replace the battery March of next year probably as it starts to lose charge a bit faster these days. Overall amazing phone and I don’t think I’m gonna spend money upgrading it until it loses software support

Watching this on an 11 pro max, honestly it’s showing its age, but I still don’t see a reason to upgrade. Apple hardware is fantastic
