“Hennelly brilliantly analyzes our capitalist crises and how individuals cope with them, tragically but often heroically. He helps us draw inspiration and realistic hope from how courageous Americans are facing and fixing a stuck nation.”

Yup. Six years of college and decades of experience has reduced me to living in a 30 year old 20 foot travel trailer, which after losing my job to the shutdowns and now inflation and the lack of good paying jobs, I will be in for a long time. They are very unsafe. And my landlord keeps raising the rent. American sadism.

The other problem here is government's history of misappropriation of tax dollars.

I add my usual comment. Thank You. Never forget that you are doing a service with your broadcasts, your weekly and bimonthly lectures, a service of education and enlightenment, you could almost start a movement. I'm in when you do with another ongoing contribution.

Think of the United States as a large family with the government and large corporations as the parents. Children and Family Services would be on their tails right now to clean up their act because their children are being abused and neglected, their elderly members are sick, inadequately fed and lacking in basic health care and dying, their pets are outside in the cold and dying while the parents cannot be bothered to stop bickering with the neighbors long enough to see that any of those who need their help get a decent standard of living. I think that their asses would be hauled into court and parental rights would be terminated. Thank you, Richard Wolff, for diligently doing the investigation into this dysfunctional madhouse and reporting this to the American people. Now we need justice.

The Gulf Coast especially should redo its electrical grid so some wind (no matter how strong) doesn't blow it down.

There should have been a residential movement after the failures of the United States' crumbling infrastructure which Ida highlighted all across the Gulf and East Coast.

Thank you🌎✊🌹🗽🇺🇲

The establishment's preparedness extends only as far as the anticipated bonus they strive to receive with the release of the next quarterly report.
Well said Professor Wolff.

Infrastructure is horrible in the country despite the wealth and $800 billion annually on the war machine ...it’s simply embarrassing and we haven’t even talked about healthcare and low wages

The selling of goods does not apply a direct form of social organization to the proportions of working time for each and every branch of industry in the US.
Price fluctuations reflect the chaotic way work in all branches of industry is carried on by sheer despotism in plants, workshops and factories.

Unprepared true, not a single politician asked to resupply our reserves for a health crisis. We only sold off what we had left and expected the best. The fires are completely Californias fault, they completely disregard the need to maintain forestry. Just saying the two states you talk about are blue run with absolutely absurd population counts in small areas. And both those states have some of the highest tax rates.
