Oh my goodness! My mom used to make these all the time (we lived in Iowa) and I’ve been wanting a keto version. Can’t wait to try them. I never knew what the purpose of cream of tarter was. Guessed it was just culinary magic! 😂 BTW, a professional cook told me to only crack an egg on a flat surface like a counter. When cracking on the bowl edge, you are more likely to get shell bits in your cooking. Who knew! Thanks for reviving my snickerdoodle dreams! 😊

It snickerdoodle _is_ a weird word! I’m not American either, i finally looked it up a couple of years ago to find out what the hecko a snickerdoodle could possibly be. Stupid name, yummy taste! These are definitely on my to make list.
