I was disappointed when Candace left Hallmark and quit making the Aurora Teagarden series because I really enjoyed those. I am glad to see her back on a new channel, making a similar mystery series. Candace, you rock! Hoping for more!

Loveeee cozy mystery books!! Ive never watched a cozy mystery movie before. I decided to give this one a try and it didn't disappoint. I thought it was a great story and had no idea it was based on a book series, now I have to read them. Please make more movies like this. I may be a little late to the game with the movie genre, so if anyone has any other recommendations, by all means send them my way. Thanks in advance and good day. ❤

How is this Hallmark? Am sorry but Hallmark mysteries have just gone down the drain. This however was great thank you Candice this was pure enjoyment and I personally can't wait for more! Solid storyline great acting. Bring more And most importantly no Lynn. Love the actress but found her so petty in Aurora Teagarden mysteries.

This is not Hallmark but pure flicks which is a part of great American media. I don’t know why they put that series on great American media because I get that series unfriendly TV and I think it’s available on one other streaming service and it’s really inexpensive. I just love that one so I may just have to miss this round.

I just watched the movie, although it was enjoyable I found myself constantly comparing it to the Aurora Teagarden mysteries. The character Ainsley seemed to be the complete opposite of Aurora
. Aurora is a master sleuth and notices the finer details most people miss and is constantly putting herself in danger. Then you’ve got Ainsley, former criminologist (I think) starting fresh in a new town playing it safe and seems to want to not intervene and would prefer the police handle the case. I found the difference in personalities quite interesting (again I was constantly comparing Ainsley and Aurora). I think Aurora Teagarden mysteries will be hard to top (my personal opinion), but I’m intrigued with the Ainsley McGregor mysteries and am looking forward to seeing more. I do hope they give the supporting actors more depth, personality, especially the ones who will be partaking in the book club meetings… just sayin’
