I don't have an Ultra to compare, but the Series 9 is also very comfortable to wear.

people who are interested in an ultra are interested exactly because it looks the way it does. I was never an apple watch guy, always purchased a garmin, the ultra was the first and only time i was tempted away from my usual purchases. I want something that has presence on the arm, exudes an industrial build quality and something that has clearly been thought about design wise to be different from the apple watch cut and paste. The flat face serves a purpose, the big body protects that face.

The better better battery life will mean more than anything else that in a year the battery should be relatively fresh at half the charge cycles of a standard watch, the brighter display serves a meaningful purpose out in bright light etc etc.

The ultra is a better watch, the series 10 looks almost exactly like the last 5 series watches that came before, i think its fair to say its more feminine, fashion over function, that rounded edge to the display looks good but will take every impact it comes across, just not for me and i think for most even interested in the ultra its not for them either.

Switched from an Ultra 2 to a Series 10 Titanium and it’s amazing. I’d definitely recommend this unless you either want the look, diving experience or battery life of the Ultra. The Series 10 Titanium has the durability of the Ultra 2 with the lightness and thinness of the Watch 10. 💯

I have an ultra 2 but I gotta say the battery life last 1 and a half day if you are into daily workouts

What I figured out with ultra 2 is you need to wear it with silicon band . It might sound counter intuitive but with silicon band the watch has better weight distribution versus fabric bands. Returned Apple Watch 10. The battery sucked and 46mm in my opinion looks weird like a computer on the wrist

Garmin for sport and Apple Watch for daily life. My jet black AW 10 42mm is amazingly light and beautiful.

I love the fact the watch faces don’t shrink in AOD mode! It’s a shame they do on the ultra!

Something that hasn’t been talked about on the series 10 that is kind of cool. It has noise cancellation that is a big plus for me when you’re having a conversation the person on the other end can hear you, but they don’t have to hear everybody talking in the background. Or all the other noises. I do like that feature on the tin. I also love my natural titanium Apple Watch 10 with sapphire glass beautiful beautiful watch it feels good on the wrist is adorable. It’s rugged enough for me. I don’t rock climb. I don’t dive in deep water. I don’t do any of those kinds of things the ultra was made for people to do athletics. They’re out there. You’re beating the payment you know that’s not who I am but anyway I guess that’s why they make different watches for different people. Anyway thought I would bring my point out thank you.

I’ve Tried series 1 and series 6 and sold both after only a few weeks because of the look, the feel ; and most of all battery life is in my opinion terrible on all of the series watches (should be able to have a watch on my wrist that lasts 24hrs minimum no matter what) . Ultra is finally the day in day out sexiest best feeling Apple Watch to date EVEN if you aren’t an outdoors enthusiast (I hike snowboard and surf so it’s a plus) and the battery life in comparison to the series is why I’ll never ever recommend a series Apple Watch to anyone unless you get an SE.
(I’ve owned the ultra 2 for 7 months, daily use)
