Hi Marnie, Both eye shadow looks are pretty on you and enhance your eyes, but my favorite is Number 1. The reasons Number 1 is my favorite is: 1. The lighter shade brightens your eyes and shows off the color of your eyes; 2. When you glance down the way the eye shadow is placed with the lighter shade on the lid then graduating a little darker is beautiful because it looks natural yet enchanting all at the same time. It doesn't matter if you use a light matte shade or light shimmery shade it still looks really pretty. Look #2 for sure, it really makes that eye look bigger than #1. Maybe even less hooded, even tho you don’t really have “hooded” eyes! You look good both ways!
