Blind contour, from what I was taught, is to help with not only hand eye coordination, but it is also an excellent exercise for you as an artist to, stop looking at your work so much, to keep you from getting caught up on the page, when you should be focusing on your subject. Subject focus is key with figure drawings which is why MOST blind contour suggestions are bust and still life and the like. <3 Love your channel! New sub for sure. Sidenote, just as information from me to you. For color theory what helps me is STICKING to a limited palette and NOT adding more than I originally locked myself into. It forces you to, blend new colors try things you wouldn't.

HAY!! I've just recently found your videos and I'm really enjoying them. I don't think you even know the impact that you have had on me today, I am so stressed out with exams at the moment and it was so nice to take a brake and watch you be creative. I am definately going to try some of these out, especially the negative space and shading ones bc I have never done that before!!

Thank you for the ideas!! Also ohuhu markers are really good! I've had mine for a year now and they still work!
I'm going to try the post it note one because my sketchbook feels a little flat rn. I also recently bought some adorable stickers from this company called "Sugar and Sloth" their art is so cute and also pretty funny (if anyone want to look it up be warned there are swears in some of the stuff) so I might put some of those in too!
