This, "mother" is garbage! She believes it's okay to leave her 7 y/o alone and unattended with her 9 month old, she's delusional. Poor children having a, "mother" like that...crazy. Plus she only got probation in the end, that's why these things continue to happen.

Contrary to what the cop said, not giving consent to search your house is NOT OBSTRUCTION, and NOT giving your name when you legally don't have to is also NOT OBSTRUCTION. The police have to have reasonable articulable suspicion that you've committed a crime (have committed/are committing/are about to commit a crime).
