I love the visual examples you provide, its a cut above the rest on you tube and extremely helpful to understand what you are applying to guitar. Thank you Ross.

Your videos always surprise me, but in a good way. On a scale of 1-10, my music theory is about a 2. I wish I'd studied it more a few dozen years ago.

Great lesson ross. Usually when i see a youtube guitar lesson video it s either too long and filled with needless details or too much talking over simple things and etc. But with this video you really tought me how to use sus triad on my leads in minutes. Thanks, spectacular video

Nice job laddie, just purchased ur advanced class... Actually working at Berklee on open triads and Minor, Major, Dim and Aug as well as SUS 4 but only using a sharp didn’t know about using a flat. Definitely worth the money and getting the examples on how to apply knowledge is the type of education you would need to attend music school to capture! Thanks for sharing mate!

Hey Ross, you said sus2 chords don't feel comfortable under your fingers yet you're playing them all over this video! "Playing a sus4 chord on a V chord in a Major key" uses the same notes as a sus2 chord on the tonic of a Major scale. It's all about perspective! :) When I heard the first lick before you explained it, I immediately thought EMaj9 sounds and not a Bsus4 but it totally makes sense both ways! Anyways, have fun over the pond, buddy!

Hey Ross, maybe it might be fun if you could put together a video going over and demonstrating the symmetric diminished scale? Using the half steps in blues playing! Also, demonstrating dominant seventh arpeggios in blues playing would be very helpful ...

Cheers Ross, I’m just learning triads so this sussy goodness will help

About "Creating a sus triad from the V chord in major keys"

(Being C= I)
 If Csus4 = CFG Then Gsus4= GCD...so
Csus2 = CDG is really Gsus4 DISGUISED...so you really ARE comfortable with Sus2 under your fingers as long as you tell your brain to look away!!

Just trying to make you smile!
Thanks for the cool lesson!
