Thank you, I usually use sticky pistons and to do the same job. Never thought of plain pistons and sand.

Found the answer I was looking for, thank you. I infected/cured my villager and gave him the farmer profession, and he still wanted 16 pumpkins for 1 emerald. I didn’t realize additional infect/cure would further reduce the cost. The next round brought it to 9 pumpkins per emerald, then 6, then 3, and finally 1 pumpkin per emerald.

Built the original 5 sections and worked perfectly. But when I tried to extend. My pistons wouldn’t retract to bring the villagers down to change. They would only go down and come right back up on the second flick of the lever

Absolutely incredible tutorial. I’ve tried this out on my creative testing world, and it works amazingly! Can hold to AT LEAST 15 villager slots with one zombie from what I can tell. I didn’t feel like expanding it more from there.

To increase efficiency, you can give the zombie a sword for them to convert your villagers faster and with ease.

Overall both a resource efficient (cheap), well made design.

I highly recommend this one!

For anyone having trouble with the piston not working, make sure there is no block next to the redstone dust! Otherwise it will budpower the piston and it wont retract

I did everything as follows but somehow the zombie hits my villagers while the piston is up. It’s when I first put in the zombie and he’s in the mine cart, then hit turns my villager and doesn’t Afro onto anything but me after that

the sand falls downand the villager goes into the hitbox of rthe falling sand. How do I fix this?

(really sad for wasting some of my villagers-) anyways, it helped me in my survival world and really got A LOT of enchanted books, bookshelves in a cheap price tysm for teaching me and entertaining me with your energy~!
