Boomer Kuwanger, the horned stag beetle of Mega Man X. I still don't understand why Boomer Kuwanger leaves behind after images, stag beetles aren't exactly sonic speed.

Interesting.
In Mega Man X 3 Blizzard Buffalo, has a similair trick.
If Blizzard Buffalo stand with his back to the wall, and start to charge at you, you have to jump at the right time.
Then he will just stand, on the same spot and he become pretty easy.

Also if you beat Boomer after he throws his horns (while they are chasing you), he will be hornless during his death animation
