Razer’s latest version of their long running Deathadder mouse, the new V3, is an incredibly impressive bit of kit. The V3 is wired, unlike the very similar ‘Pro’ model which mostly just adds wireless support, but it gets Razer’s HyperPolling 8,000 Hz polling rate. Razer have also sweetened the deal for me here with their new Strider Chroma mouse mat. It’s a mix of a soft, rollable mat, and a hard surface finish for a bit smoother gliding. It also squeezes in RGB lighting around the perimeter, which is surprising to see in a rollable mat!

the speed flex cable is incredibly heavy xD
it's the first thing i modded in my DAV3 and the mouse feels sooo much better with a good cable

Good they got rid of the rubber coating and repositioned the side buttons. V2's position isn't an issue for me, but see how it could be for some. so nice change. But a thing I dislike is the higher price.
How is the mouse after long-term use? I assume they still use the superb glide pads.
Will it creak? my Deathadder V2 creaks, it was tiny bit creaky from new, but now it's horrible, but my dad's V2 doesn't creak at all.

Have you tested several V3s? Heard of any creaking?

i own this mouse and its really amazing!! but on 8000hz there is a problem with fast movement still awesome mouse!

I had the 3.5, Chroma and now the Elite version. The only annoying thing is the DPI button on the top, under the scroll is super stupid. Should be on the bottom, or nowhere at all... On this new one, I dont like the button design. Why make it look older and with a gap for dirt to enter if you already had a perfectly working super nice design. Anyway, hopefully my Elite will keep serving me for many years. I would buy the Deathadder essential, less than 30 on Amazon, and no DPI buttons.

hi. I got karge 20x11cm hands too. Would you recommend getting this? Was looking for wireless though with deathadder v2x hyperspeed and vxe r1 in budget available in my region. I use a relaxed claw need bottom palm support. Currently using g402. What to get within these 3? Actually also viper 8khz. A reply would be really helpful.

hello, i bought the same mouse, but im having a problem that is, when i go to calibration on synapse it comes on "medium" and if i put on "high" the lod on mouse stays low and i tested both with dvd to measure the lod and even on "high" cant even makes up 1.2Mm (1 dvd) its yours the same? thanks.

The 8000Hz makes the acceleration of the cursor a bit weird. I prefer the 1000Hz.
