I love that after Swagger exonerates himself in front of the Attorney General, and Johnson walks out untouched by consequence, it's the AG himself who gives Swagger the implicit green light for this. "For the record, I don't like the way this turned out any more than you do, but this is the world we live in and justice does not always prevail. It's not the Wild West where you can clean up the streets with a gun... even though sometimes that's exactly what's needed."

The Shooter really made sure that his enemies are together in one place that is isolated.
They hired him for a seemingly routine mission, framed him for a murder that was not on his list ...he came back not just to bite their asses...but to remove them from existence.

This movie was so based, it was a very strange political climate at the time when you could even get away with making this. Entertaining as hell the whole way through too but actually having the balls to end it like this is what made it great

I love how Mark Wahlberg is responsible for two of the most satisfying endings in a movie: This (Shooter) and The Departed.
