Fox Sports’ lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt breaks down the epic game between Oregon and Ohio State and dives deep into the reasons that the Ducks were able to come out on top. He gives his thoughts on the controversial late call against the Buckeyes and whether Dan Lanning intentionally exploited a loophole in the final seconds to help seal the win. Klatt discusses the comeback win by Penn State over USC and how monumental that result is for both programs. He considers whether Texas is clearly the best team in the country after their blowout win over Oklahoma and if LSU is poised for an SEC Title Game appearance after beating Ole Miss in Death Valley. After narrow wins, how concerned should their fans be about Alabama & Tennessee right now? Klatt also reacts to Colorado’s near-comeback against Kansas State including giving his thoughts on the controversial no-call at the end of that game. Sponsored by Hampton by Hilton.

Ashton Jeanty should win the Heisman Trophy if he continues his production for the remainder of the season.

As a Buckeye fan, our fan base needs to chill tf out.

Losing sucks, I know. But We lost by 1 point to the #3 Team in the country on their turf at night on top of all the mistakes we made. Oregon is a very good team. We knew coming into the season this was going to be the hardest game. And we only dropped two spots in rankings.

Now with extended playoffs, nothing is off the table for us. If we win out the rest of regular season, this game doesn’t even affect us at all. Perfect time for a BYE, regroup, and get back at it.

Shout out to Oregon for a good game

You want to know a poor call, when the team intercepts and they don’t review

“He didn’t extend” as we’re all watching him extend his arms in the background😂

Im so confused Klatt, you are showing the replays that clearly show the receiver pushing off as you state he doesnt extend his arms, yet the cb gets pushed back a few yards. How are you not seeing that?

It was clearly an offensive PI. He pushed off and gained an unfair advantage. Then to not mention the missed interception that ended up in an OSU touchdown, is crazy. Quit making excuses to justify your bad prediction of an OSU win.

Klatt you have to have a talk with your producers. While you are talking about the OPI being a bad call they are showing video of Jeremiah Smith fully extending and shoving off. It looked/sounded comical on the screen. Talking about that call without even mentioning the interception in the first quarter is one of the worst takes I’ve heard from you. I’m a huge fan but it seems like you didn’t watch the game.

Shoutout to the Oregon defense playing without Jordan Burch

Why won't anyone talk about the clear interception during osu first possession?

You mention the textbook opi call was bad call but completely fail to mention the gifted TD on the first drive after the ball was clearly intercepted.

Spend more time talking about the losers. Any criticism of officiating begins and ends with the INT on 1st drive given to OSU as a reception leading to 7 gifted points. Tremendous oversight by Klatt. And Smith had been pushing off all night with clear extension on that play which Klatt calls the smoking gun. UO had more miscues- so game shouldn't have been that close.

Klatt making excuses for Ohio state and blaming the refs with out acknowledging the interception on the opening drive that wasn’t reviewed is classic whining 😂😂😂

Jeremiah Smith literally pushed off of him and turned around to catch it

1. If you slow down the PI, he very clearly does extend his arms, pushing the defender off.
2. That was the reason he got separation, making it unclean

Don't bring your excuses here like this, it's a bad look

This game was best case scenario for OSU. Oregon misses 2 extra points, a mildly difficult field goal, and were stopping on 4th and goal. All of that on top of the missed interception early in the game. That final could’ve been 43- 24 if it all swung oregons way.

This is a prefect example of why Oregon fans believe there is a bias against teams out West. At no point did the game seam like Ohio State was a lot better than Oregon. After listening to this you would think that Oregon just “got lucky”. How about spend some time talking about the team that actually won the game.

Klatt in two months when USC has 5 losses - “best 5 loss team in the nation”

Lanning is a much better coach than Day, he out coached Day. The 12th man out there and only 5 yard penalty was genius
