For his "Artist in Residence" project, drummer, composer and "Dr. Langner Jazz Master" student Tobias Frohnhöfer has fulfilled a long-standing dream and invited New York star trumpeter Alex Sipiagin to Hamburg. Sipiagin is one of the most influential jazz musicians of our time and is known for his collaboration with Dave Holland, Michael Brecker, Mingus Orchestra and many others.

Together with the newly founded Tobias Frohnhöfer Trio, they will present original compositions by Sipiagin and Frohnhöfer.
