Important note, you have to let go after the first five beeps if you want to deactivate it. For doing your brakes or whatever. Took me forever to figure that out a while back

I had my parking brake on before I got out of my car. When I got back in, I turned the car on and put in drive and tried to drive off. It hesitated, then the electronic parking break released. Could this damage the e-break system? It's a 2021 Sport SE.

I think my dad forced it to move when he put it on. He moved my CR-V for no reason and don't ever since then when I park it, it moves back and fourth for like 2-3 seconds.
