She and her husband, Nick, founded the anti-human trafficking organization, The A21 Campaign, which works at the local, domestic, and international level to end modern-day slavery. They also founded Equip & Empower, a ministry that is mobilizing people everywhere to live on mission for Jesus. Propel Women is an initiative of the ministry dedicated to coming alongside women all over the globe to activate their God-given purpose. The ministry has also planted three life-giving Zoe Churches in Europe that are not only bringing the Gospel to the region, but also serve the most vulnerable through humanitarian outreach during times of crisis.

The first week of January I asked God what was my word for the year…He said “Forward” every time I hear that word it quickens me especially when the message goes along with what He has been speaking. Our Abba is a loving Father who longs for us to get into true relationship with Him! He wants to restore, heal, and set free us all. Looking back will only get you stuck and God will give you consequences…He chastises those He loves. If you know He is speaking don’t just say amen with your lips…be obedient and do it with faith and action. I have been disobedient because of comfort and fear. I know this message was for me! Thank you!❤

This sermon was a message I needed that was sent by God himself. I’ve been so stuck in the past lately longing to go back to the “good old days” that I’ve felt so hopeless in terms of my future. I pray to no longer dwell about my past and trust in the future that God has planned for me 🙏🏾

Just what I needed to hear! I've been yearning for the good ol days when people weren't so off the wall and unpredictable. When God was honored and not mocked. When children were allowed to be children and not used and horribly abused.
I could go in and on about what I miss, but you are right, I should not allow myself to get stuck in the past.

Help me Lord going through this season of moving on and letting go

Misplaced longing. I’m stuck in a place where I long for so many things of the past. Some were real and others an illusion I had created. Places, relationships, familiarity, routine, comfort, safety, and jobs/finances. That season lasted a few years. When it all began, I thought this was it. Things were great and this would be my life. Short lived. Problems arose and nothing was what it seemed. I escaped that situation and the things attached with it. Now i find myself looking back and longing. Wondering if I even made the right choice at times. Everything is different now and I don’t know where I’m going. Sometimes past relationships lash out and serve as a reminder that I’m no longer welcome there. Then I see myself standing on one leg, wondering when or if I’ll ever stand firm again. The future is scary. Even more when you have a little on depending on you. I just want to provide and set a good example. I have to stop looking back. He isn’t done with me yet and I know there is so much left to come. I’ll always remember Lot’s wife.
