i don't think he needs to stop playing the caro but if it's the only thing he plays like he does in tourneys it's a problem since it makes it easier for opponents to prep if they already know what he's going to play.

Selling courses to noob 1600 elo players is VERY different than playing a GM level. my highest rated opening is the Jerome gambit, but I am 1650. GMs would DESTROY that opening
