Several years back, a tenant spilled surstromming in his apartment. EVERYONE in the building self-evacuated. The landlord had to try SEVERAL times to eradicate the smell, but only lessened it.
The culprit then SUED the landlord for unjustified eviction.
The culprit went first, and things were NOT looking good for the landlord. The judge started to chide the landlord for his cruel and unjust treatment of the tenant.
The landlord didn't say a word. He just reached into his bag, pulled out a can of surstromming and cracked that puppy open.
The entire courtroom started retching, the judge rendered a hasty judgment in favor of the landlord, then dashed
THE ENTIRE COURTHOUSE had to be evacuated.
