I just realized something....I think after the first chorus, lotus juice's lyrics specifically are supposed to be from the pov of makoto (either the shadowy makoto figure or the actual great sealed makoto seeing everything go on).

Think about it. "There's no returning, no matter how much you want it.", "It burns me to the core on my body, no one knew it" "Feeling half awake and half asleep, I'd rather be asleep and dream the days of peace"? this sounds like makoto is trying to tell the others that he's gone for good, and that while he cherishes the days he spent with them all, trying to set him free would be a very bad idea and that it'd be best for them to just let him rest and live their lives. but of course, they can't hear him....

I love this song so much; it perfectly displays the raw, compromised mental state of the party following the events of the main game and everything that they've all gone through. They just sound so tired.

The part after Do not make me is sooo good really shows how aeigis and the others know they have to get out of the situation they're in but they're still grieving over what happend at the end of the main story and their mind and hearts are not in it anymore
