STAR Renewable Energy - The Future of Heating

A short movie describing how technology first described in 1852 can be harnessed to deliver heat in a modern setting. With over 50% of the UKs energy used for heating, this technology that can reduce this by over 75% holds much promise.

However until recently, the efficiency of the big heatpump systems was not high enough.

Star Renewable Energy's project in Drammen Norway demonstrates how this can be done, delivering an 80% saving over the cost of burning gas.
