"Literally!" Oh my Gosh I love Jimmy Kimmel and I love how Sofia Vergara says "literally." The late night talk show did a comedy skit with the Modern Family star where they each read each other extremely mean comments that real people have said about each of them. Because according to Kimmel- the most dangerous neighborhood in the country right now is the comments section on any web page. Couldn't agree more. In the skit, Sofia reads a comment to Jimmy that says "I hate Jimmy Kimmel. He has squinty eyes and a gape mouth that never really closes." Jimmy just took it. Then HE read one about how Sofia Vergara should me a mute because her voice is so annoying. Sofi didn't take it to well. Then he said:
Mean commenters should die. I take that back. That was mean. Anyway, the whole thing lead up to this:

I think this is real. She's got a hot temper, and Jimmy did NOT see that coming. If it was staged Sophia would know what to do after she said it, but you can tell from the clip she has no idea what to do next.

I think that was definitely staged. I've been a part of showbiz long enough to know that anybody credible in this industry (especially on Kimmel's team) A: Can't let that happen (especially since publicists of celebrities will be communicating with show producers & doing a thorough screening on what will be asked, etc., ) and B: There will be a fallout if such an incident occurred. Not only would there be ramifications with the public, but, celebrities also have their own circles of friends/supporters. And if one celebrity does another celebrity wrong, the afflicted celebrity's posse (circle of celebrity friends) will respond by completely dropping the Too much liability here for this to even remotely make it to air. (And Kimmel doesn't need publicity stunts (packing this caliber of potential backlash), in order to succeed.
He already has success.

I don't blame her at all. You put someone on spot and read stuff that annoys them, what else do you expect to happen? You don't have to be a hothead to react the way she did. She's the most genuine person I have ever seen.
