Overall, the OnionOS installation procedure is really simple.
Basically, the main four steps we cover to install Onion OS on your Miyoo Mini are -
1) Backing up the microSD card that came with our Miyoo Mini
2) Updating the firmware on our Miyoo Mini to the latest firmware
3) Formatting a new microSD card for OnionOS
4) Installing OnionOS onto our Miyoo Mini

It's really that easy to install OnionOS onto your Miyoo Mini.
This guide works to install OnionOS on the original Miyoo Mini, as well as the newer Miyoo Mini V2, and Miyoo Mini V3.
OnionOS has heaps of new features that greatly improve the gaming experience on the Miyoo Mini, including GameSwitcher, improved fast forward and save states, and better theming.

Overall, OnionOS is really simple to install on the Miyoo Mini, and it offers some big improvements.

There is a very important thing, i think you forgot to mention in the video:

When transferring the BIOS files from the backup to the SD card, you need to look for the ".retroarch" folder, which IS HIDDEN. So you need to press Shift + Cmd + . to unhide them!

If you cant find the Roms folder, FIRST you have to insert the sd card into the mini plus, let onion install and THEN choose all the rooms you want and installed them FROM THE MIYOO. Once you set it up, remove the sd card and put it in the computer again, and only THEN will the folder appear

Where is the ROM folder on the onion SD card? I see, tmp_update, BIOS, Media, miyoo, RetroArch, and Themes. None of which contain a folder titled ROMs. So I'm not sure where to copy the ROMs from the backup

anyone not able to use ps1 after onion install it is missing the bios file, its on the old sd card!!

I can't find the rims folder in the new onion os download and you said I can't use the old rom files right?

Every time I try and backup my old SD card it just says there is an error and won't let me

I noticed that when I am playing Pokemon Emerald (mGBA), I am unable to use fast forward multipliers in Onion OS. Whenever I use fast forward it does not do anything; it will just play the game at the normal speed. I am curious if this is a known issue.

If I switch to gpSP, it works fine with fast forward multipliers (2x, 3x, etc.). The only reason I will not continue gpSP is because it does not work for RetroAchievements (afaik).

Any help on this would be awesome :)

You mentioned in 4:21 that we need to copy all of the files inside ".retroarch" folder, but my RetroArch folder doesn't have it. :( Can anyone help?
