Показать описание
Meet Cliff Kapono, an ASU assistant professor, chemist, researcher and professional surfer based in Hilo, Hawaii, at the ASU Center for Global Discovery and Conservation Science. Protecting this planet’s oceans and coral reefs is personal for Cliff – he’s a native Hawaiian, and some of the places he chases waves are home to the most resilient coral species on the planet. His research focuses on how land runoff affects our oceans to better preserve and protect coral reefs across the world.
