Less than a year after releasing the Phantom 4, DJI has unveiled the Phantom 4 Professional quadcopter. We test and review this new drone, which is equipped with a new 4K camera system, environment sensors on five sides, and a controller with built-in display. Here's why we think the Phantom 4 Pro is the true successor to the Phantom 3, and the best consumer drone on the market.

Nice review. I got my P4 Pro today. Looking forward to testing it. I am glad to hear that you like the dedicated monitor. I almost didn't get it, but it sounds, from your review, that it was worth buying. Thanks for the review!

I think I will get a drone like this in the next year or two. I've wanted one since the Phantom 1 came out, but I'm so glad I've waited and seen the incredible advances that all the drone manufacturers have made year after year.

Thank you so much for this comprehensive review with so much emphasis on the camera. The camera on this is the primary reason I've upgraded from the P3Pro. This camera system with the 1" cmos sensor AND in this small body design makes it perfect for what I do. I just wish obstacle avoidance on this camera resulted in lower insurance cost for commercial owners. Thanks gain and thumbs UP on this video for sure! I also love the built in screen. This is my go-to quad now.

what's up with the crazy macroblocking at 6:13? but then at 6:31 it looks totally clean, were you in different modes? different speeds?

As a photographer I love these drones, such a shame they are illegal in Sweden

Great video but what's the deal with so many guys posting reviews with there antennas always incorrectly positioned? Why are they pointing straight out like that?

Excellent review and I have watched most of them. Great information not covered in other reviews.

What is the technical difference in the front obstacle avoidance and the side? Why not use the same system on both the front or the side. I don't understand why the two separate systems. BTW Great Video!!

Very good review and amazing images. I have a Phantom 4 and I intend to exchange it for a Phantom 4 PRO or maybe a Mavic Pro in a near future.

My Mavic though <3 It would've been great to have a mechanical shutter on it, but other then that, LOVEEE IIIT!

Great review Tested! Great vids too man. Just got mine 2 weeks ago moving up from the P4. It is awesome! Only thing I might say is that the mechanical shutter is really only affecting your stills. This was a misconception at first about the panning in video being better because of the new shutter. Don't think that's the case. Thanks for the review!
