'Ripley (Jumpsuit)' NECA Alien [wave 4]

A review of the Ellen Ripley jumpsuit figure based on the movie Alien, from the 4th wave of Aliens figures by NECA.

Just picked up this figure today, and I'm really happy with it. The recent NECA Alien line has been nothing but fantastic thus far.

I pre-ordered two Ripley figures a couple of months ago (one to open and one to keep MOC) and they arrived two days ago. In the pack these figures looked like some of NECA's best work. However now I've opened one I can see that this is honestly the best single figure NECA has produced in a while. The likeness is perfect and the paintwork/colour tones are flawless (on my figures anyway). This has become my favourite single figure of 2015 so far. Granted I haven't bought much, but of what I have purchased this is top of the tree. My only gripe is the Jonesy accessory which I feel has a disproportionately small head, but judging just the figure alone (as I probably won't display her with Jonesy) she's fantastic (10/10).

I went to Barnes and noble today, and -no joke- I saw a jonesy graphic 'novel' and I was tempted to buy it for my kid that's on the way! It was more of a kids book than a alien 'novel'... still awesome though!

looks amazing, but the only complaint for me is ripely is a little expressionless for alien.

Neca does have a bad QA dept as this is the 2nd figure with totally messed up paint job, does anyone else have similar experience?

can't really justify collecting this line since neca has no intention to make the rest of the crew.  also, hot toys is making a much nicer ripley.
