I am comparing the new Rode VideoMic NTG to the very popular Rode VideoMicro. Is it worth the upgrade?

Hi, I have never used a microphone for my Lumix GH5, also because it has a good mic. incorporated. Please let me understand, this is not a criticism. If you are vloging, to shoot only a few minutes where the microphone is actually useful in a working day, but unfortunately you have to leave it on the camera all the time causing you only some annoyance. could you do this comparison in a noisy place? it would help to understand how well these microphones works in "normal conditions". it would be great to have even a short video!

I think it depends on your camera preamps. The Micro is just too weak, and if your preamps are weak or hissy, that will not work. The NTG is much hotter.
