So perfectly explained sir. I really hate all those obnoxious replies to this question that many people including faculties, that "a surgeon is born surgeon, and if you are confused between a surgical branch and another branch then take the other branch, that if you are not a 200 percent sure that you want surgery then its not for you etc". I find that deeply condescending. Its normal to be confused about a big decision in life, its okay to be cautious when making a life altering choice. Surgery is not a piece of cake, it takes a lot of hard work, training and skill to be good at it, you can't take it on a whim, you can't "just know". No one is a "born surgeon". Its your whole life, your future, and you should be able to visualise 10, 20 years ahead, if you will be able to work so hard, such hours and have such skilled hand along with required physical and mental strength. This video is the holy grail to this question.
