To those of you (us) that might be having issues opening the ink tank cover, make sure you're opening the unit from the recessed handles and not just the top portion where the flatbed scanner would be exposed. If I'm not being clear, look closely where the person here in the video is raising the unit. The ink tank cover should then be able to be raised with hardly any force.

Hi, I opened both lids to get to the ink panel however I can’t close the scanner lid back. Is there a specific button I have to press it seems to be locked, Thank you!

Help! The black ink tank does not refill any longer..it is empty now....I tried a new bottle but the ink does not go down the tank....why is there no one talking about this problem....thanks epson

Hi, I have an ET4850 just over a year old and use it on a regular basis. The ink tanks looks to be half full but now when I do nozzle checks nothing is printing (started just black, but now all 3 colours aren't printing). I also performed a Power clean (purchased a new maintenance tank). It doesn't look like any ink went down during the power clean, which I understand should go down by quite a bit. Could the ink have dried out (live in a warm climate)? If so how do I replace the ink? Thank you

Instructions coming in the box with ET-4850 is the most confuse and incomplete thing that I have seen in my life. I bought one yesterday and there is no way that I can close the lid.

The color on my ET-3850 is great but, even though the black ink level is high and I ran the print head cleaner and power washer the black text prints as a very faint, outline of the text.

I recently moved and can not find instruction sheet. How do I add ink to make sure I do not run out. I can not figure out how to open the top lid housing the ink wells. The lid appears locked. How can I open the tanks do I can keep the tank fully inked. I will be going away but still need the printer to print various color pages.
