The Truth About Shredz Supplements: A No B.S Review
In today's video I deliver an honest, unbiased Shredz supplement review based off of the product ingredients, dosages and price.
Most of the reviews you'll find out there for Shredz supplements are very poorly put together and are nothing more than cleverly disguised advertisements created by affiliates who have a vested interested in you purchasing the products.
I have no affiliation with any supplement companies and my only interest is in delivering honest, useful information to my viewers, and these are my thoughts on each individual product based on what I see...
Unbiased Shredz Supplement Review:
Shredz Whey Protein: This is a basic mix of whey concentrate and whey isolate with 23g protein per 30g scoop, 2.5g carbs and 1.5g fat. In terms of actual content this protein supplement is fine, but the main downside is the price. Shredz protein powder is only available in 2 pound tubs for $40 each, and this ends up shooting the cost per serving very high. You'll be much better off to purchase a 5 pound tub of a different brand (such as Optimum Nutrition, Dymatize or Cellucor), as you'll get equal or better quality and for a much lower price. (I.E. About 75 cents per serving as opposed to $1.33)
Shredz Alpha Testosterone Booster: There is no data to show that any natural, over the counter products can boost testosterone levels to a high enough degree to positively influence muscle growth or fat loss, so this is a product I would not recommend by default. It's also based off of a proprietary blend (meaning you have no idea what you're actually getting since the individual ingredient dosages are hidden) and costs $60 per bottle which is an extremely high price for a product that probably won't even benefit you.
Shredz Creatine: This one is based off of magnesium creatine chelate, which is simply an over-priced version of regular creatine monohydrate. You can get all the benefits of creatine just by using regular monohydrate for 3 cents per gram, and there's no reason to pay $50 a bottle for an "advanced" version that almost certainly won't provide any additional benefits.
Shredz Fat Burner Max: This Shredz supplement is also based off of a proprietary blend, so there's no way of knowing what's actually in it. The main ingredient is African Mango Seed which was a heavily marketed "weight loss miracle" several years back but has since died down. This ingredient is also an appetite suppressant, so why this is used as the main compound in a pre-workout fat burner I have no idea. It also costs $75 per bottle which is an outrageous price for a fat burner.
Shredz BCAA + Glutamine: I don't recommend BCAA's or glutamine in the first place since they're almost certainly unnecessary as long as your daily protein needs are being met. In any case, you can get BCAA and glutamine combos for much cheaper than what Shredz charges for this one. Check out Xtend by Scivation and you'll get more BCAA's and glutamine for about half the price.
Shredz Rebuild: This is a basic ZMA product. I'm not opposed to zinc or magnesium supplementation in athletes, but this Shredz product uses magnesium oxide which is well known to be the cheapest and lowest quality form. Not only that, but it's far more expensive than most ZMA products anyway.
It should be fairly clear at this point what my opinion of Shredz supplements is, and you can simply take the information given here and decide what you feel is right for you. Hope you found this Shredz review helpful.
