I love how Traveler is such a main focus in this story yet they always make them mid in gameplay which is always unfortunate, Dendro Traveler was the best one, however Pyro isn't too bad in my opinion.

Since we’re comparing to Dendro rn, I think that they’re about even. The truth of the matter is that neither of them are really crazy in terms of damage numbers. They both serve as enablers for their respective elements. Dendro Traveler was really good early on because options for off-field Dendro application were limited. (They still are, lol. Your other best bet is Yaoyao who has downtime that sticks out like a sore thumb) Pyro traveler is a bit different because they have to be compared to the existing option. Oppa is Oppa. But, there are two reasons to use Pyro traveler: you already have the cooking demon on the other team and you need consistent Pyro application, or you need damage buffs. Pyro traveler’s biggest upside is being a Cinder City set off-field Pyro unit. Recent characters have been pushing Pyro reactions in meta relevance, and because of that, Pyro traveler will definitely find lots of uses in team comps.

From my POV, traveler was never supposed to be DPS character, just support. And in terms of support? Yeah, they're great.

Slap the scroll set on pyro traveller and pair them with mualani or kinich(if you have them) and see dem big numbers.
