The Mark Zuckerberg story, from the first idea to the first million!

Mark Zuckerberg became a millionaire (and then billionaire) after creating the world’s most popular social media site—Facebook—from his Harvard dorm room, aged 19. In this video, we talk about the early days, before he became a billionaire and the world learned his name. Zuckerberg founded Facebook with 4 of his roommates in a Harvard dorm. It took them just 10 months to reach 1 million users, and even less time to become millionaires (on paper) - receiving an offer of $10 million from a venture capital firm after 5 months. Zuckerberg wasn’t interested in the offer, or even money-generating ads, as all he wanted to do was create something cool. Facebook eventually started making money and went public, creating a few billionaires, and roughly 1000 millionaires (including a man who painted murals on their first building. It also made Zuckerberg the youngest self-made billionaire ever at 23. Zuckerberg is still chairman and CEO of Facebook, with a net worth estimated at upwards of $50 Billion.
