ASAE convention brings thousands to downtown Cleveland

The American Society of Association Executives is hosting their annual meeting and exhibition today in downtown Cleveland. There are more that 5 thousand people here for this event.
According to ASAE, 20 percent of attendees to this conference book a meeting in the host city within five years. It is estimated that the business booked directly from Cleveland hosting this conference will translate to between 2 and 5 hundred million dollars to the region with Cleveland on the high end of that estimate.
Destination Cleveland President David Gilbert says these numbers show that meetings are back.
