When I voted last year, an elderly woman made a huge scene. She claimed her vote was being stolen because she didn’t understand the machine. She also began complaining loudly to the polling attendants about what the issues meant, and said they were meant to confuse her to steal her vote. This is accurate af

Summarizing Easter Eggs, please help with the rest:
1. Leaving fridge open
2. Putting cereal in the fridge instead of the pantry
3. Olive oil left on the stove
4. Forgetting to turn off the stove
5. Mishandling the Tavern remote
6. Crooked blinds

My local voting location has a resident old man and old woman, to show the other elderly people how to fill out their ballots. It worked really well from what I've seen.

I'm an old voter and I approve this video. This would be in my Top 10 Onion videos if I could remember nine others.

Jokes aside, you are absolutely allowed to ask for help if the machines are confusing or not working. It feels somehow illegal, like you shouldn't interrupt them, but the poll workers are always happy to help

I love how amazing the 'real people' are casted by the Onion. They're all such believable people it blows my mind! Thank you for years of amazing comedy.

As a 68 year old person, at first I was offended. Then I thought, well if we can’t laugh at ourselves, what can we laugh at? 😊

To be fair, some initiatives and referendums are so convoluted they shouldn't be allowed on a ballot. My state has one on energy regulation that is such a mess the f-ing north star of "is this green friendly or not?" Sierra Club wasn't sure enough what to make of it and didn't endorse or condemn it. Now that belongs in an onion story.
