I’m a video producer, and a pickleballer. I feel like the use of the crane is being used because of production value rather than helping present the match. There’s a reason that tennis has been broadcast for decades from behind the baseline. I love the crane shots, but I think it should be used as a cut camera not the primary. The production crew is just having fun with gear rather than producing the shoot properly. Less is more with this sport.

I hear Ben isn't playing singles because he's still nursing his ankle. Maybe he's just burned out on it and wants to take a rest, or maybe he wants to play doubles only because it's more fun to play. Whatever the case is, I'd rather see him play singles more than anyone. It's his game IQ and hand skills that make him the best at it.

Great to see the Best 4 players on tour. Parenteau made some bad errors with her positioning in the second game. The Sun was on Ben's face. She needed to use the lob on his backhand. stayed on no-man's land during 2 or 3 points even though she hit great resetting dinks. footwork/positioning. Other than that, great match. Glad to see and thank you for uploading here.

It's insane to me that this is shot in a way that you can't even see where the ball goes for the ends of points. Why not video from behind/front rather than side, which cuts off the ends?

Count the times Staksrud stepped on Catherines toes and then they lost the point. Catherine is standing way back because he keeps running into her! The crowd is even yelling let her play. You cant win if you try to play one on two by hindering your own partner.
