Note: They would NOT clone a full human for organ transplants - they would grow JUST the organ. No human organ farms.

Imagine being born knowing you're only gonna be a replacement for your parents

I’m SO thankful for the person who donated their liver to my dad and prolonged his life by 12 years, as he was on hospice when he got the call that he got a match. Best day EVER! I do have to say though, I’d NEVER want to raise another me. Not even a little. That’s why I respect my momma so much! It would just be weird. Besides, research shows that clones don’t live very long and have a lot of problems.

I couldn't allow another sentient being that is basically me, be used just for harvesting like a animal . Also this guy is so underrated, he has no opinion and gives useful information 💖💖💖Gotta sub

Cloning people for organs sounds like a movie I’ve heard of. Cant out my finger on it.

If I get a clone no one ‘s using mine for organ donation. Me and my clone are gonna become life long friends

There was a movie about that back in the eighties. How the clones had routines and didn't drink or smoke ect. They when the person who owned the clone got sick and needed a transplant the killed the clone to harvest the organ or kept it a live for other body parts. They clones have their own personality's. Their own thoughts and they are completely different from the person the are cloned from.

While I love the possibility of this technology I am scared of the abuse that could arise. This would need to be heavily regulated

Immortality sounds like the worst thing that could happen to me, I would rather die now than be immortal

This guy is the embodiment of "they were so busy trying to figure out if they could that they never stopped to think if they should".

I made a project about this a few weeks ago.

Total cloning of humans is totally forbidden in 2022 but cloning organs and cells as a process of healing the organism is not only allowed in several countries but also being implemented already.

This guy's videos are basically "Here's everything dystopian about the human race".

There were a lot of problems with Dolly. First, she was the only successfull clone out of ~250 tries. Only 13 "clones" out of the 250 tries managed to multiply after the procedure, which I will talk about later. And out of the 13, only Dolly managed to survive and be born. And even she died prematurely. She aged rapidly, dying when she was only 6, while bormal sheep live up to 20.

Now to the procedure. Dolly had actually 3 mothers. The 1st mother is the one, of which she was the "clone" of. She wasnt a perfect clone, because it was the 2nd mother, who had a totipotent stemcell removed. (Totipotent means that it had the ability to split and create every single tissue needed for the organism.) The nuclei of this cell was removed and a nuclei of the 1st mother's stemcells was implanted into the hull of the 2nd mother's stemcell. After that it was embedded into the 3rd mother's womb, where it grew. The reason why Dolly wasnt a true clone, is because there is DNA in the ribosomes of the 2nd mother's stemcell.

Tissues in humans can also be replaced through a similar method, but that, again, isnt the cloning of previous tissue.

The thing about thought patterns is, they wont have the same thought patterns unless you somehow artificially implant every life experience of you into the clone.
Most of what makes us, us, stems from the experiences and conditioning we have recieved.

I’d love to have a clone of myself just play video games with all day. It would be especially interesting playing games like a Smash Bros, since we both know all of our strategies and play styles. Imagine trying to beat and outsmart yourself in a game.
